| ROOTSTER 604: the new revised all-rounder |
|
Digging, cleaning and transferring: The new revised trailed harvester ROOTSTER is the high-impact and economic alternative for sugar beet harvesting. It handles all work in 1- and 2-phase harvest procedures with the highest operator comfort.
The extraordinarily serviceable machine is designed so that it can be used worldwide for 6-row harvest. Especially affordable: All 1- and 2-phase systems can be trailed by existing tractors.
Another option for all ROOTSTER models is the automatic track assistance system Root Runner. The manual leaf detector with rotating angle potentiometer at the front unit transfers the signal to the system. Electrical servo motor on the steering wheel or standardised ISOBUS interface of the tractor receive the signals and and taking over the exact track guidance of the tractor. The Root Runner system disburdens the driver effectively of any laborious manual tracking and completely of any steering work as soon as the tractor-implement combination is located in the crop row. This provides the driver with more time to attend to the optimum adjustment of the attachment and to check the work results.
Oppel wheels ensure gentle harvesting of the beets and transfer to the subsequent wide cross roller table. Following the channeled beet flow is transferred directly to 3 succeeding cleaning turbines for intensive cleaning. The speed of the cleaning units can be adjusted in three steps.
The large 6 m³ buffer bunker transfers the beet via an infinitely height adjustable unloading web to the transport vehicle during the harvesting process. Thus ensures a non-stop use of the harvester.
